Kannur International Airport is an international airport situated in the northern district in the state of Kerala, India. The airport is spread in an area about 2,000 acres of land. It is located in Mattannur, about 30 km from the city of Kannur and 2 km from Mattannur on Kannur – Mattannur – Mysore road with an easy access from NH-17 and SH-30 & 36. It is owned and operated by Kannur International Airport Limited, a public–private consortium. Airport has a runway of 3,050 metres, this will be extended to 4000 metres.
